A deep dive into what it really means to be me.

Throughout the year I've been working on and off to complete a comprehensive body of work. Through this process I've scrapped dozens of songs and gone through several iterations of what lays before me today. During this, up until the last couple months, I was directionless. and a bit lost in terms of where i want to be at this point. Though not intentional, this album has become a bookend to the previous chapter of my life. I feel like this project has helped me discover more of what it means to be me, and I settled on the title "self." because of that.
